INSTALLER/PROJECT TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

  • Install mobile and fixed radio and wireless communications equipment consistent with manufacturer and company guidelines. Maintain positive customer relations.
  • Perform installations of mobile and fixed wireless communications equipment.  Install cable and antenna consistent with project requirements and according to R56 installation and safety standards.
  • May also deconstruct installation sites as required.
  • Inventory and assemble parts prior to installation work to ensure correct parts available on truck.
  • Optimize site following installation to ensure system or equipment function properly; perform programming or run diagnostics as appropriate.
  • Determine customer requirements to assist in developing labor and cost estimates.
  • Complete job tickets, sales orders, and other required work documents.
  • Maintain positive customer relations.
