Emergency Responder Radio Coverage (ERRC) Systems

Keep First Responders Communicating

A reliable ERRC System can make all the difference in an emergency situation. Radio frequency (RF) signals are greatly reduced when passed through dense building materials. This problem was evident during 9/11, when first responders were unable to effectively communicate inside the World Trade Center towers. Since 2009, the International Code Council and the National Fire Protection Association have added first responder radio coverage requirements to their book of fire codes. Today’s fire codes mandate buildings support public safety radio coverage prior to the official Certificate of Occupancy. P&R has years of experience in providing well-designed and reliable ERRC systems. In addition, because our expertise is in RF and we help maintain many of the public safety radio systems in our area, P&R is uniquely qualified to provide you with the best solution.
